the breakfast had a great selection. the service from the room service staff was friendly (i especially liked their promptness). the room came with two bathrooms, very convenient.
the carpets in the room had noticeable stains. the cleanliness felt subpar, i saw the cleaner washing cups without soap (this concerned me).

the taxis outside were easy to find, i will give them that.
my fairmont king room wasn't so fair. the pillows seemed to harbor a faint aroma of someone else dreams and the mini-bar was emptier than my wallet after a trip. the gym had one treadmill out of service, so i had to actually talk to people while waiting.

The hotel was lovely. the common areas are wonderful, especially the pool area and the breakfast area. breakfast offered many options, everything freshly made, and availability was never a problem. I really enjoyed it.
Upon arrival, i did not get the room i booked. i had to call the reception. Only then i was provided with a room close to what i booked. there were no slippers in the room, nor a bathrobe, it is strange not to be provided for a hotel of this standard, let alone a brand like this.

the bed had super soft, silky linen. the bathroom was clean and functional with amenities. i ate at the italian restaurant where the service was great. but the food was so nice.
my husband mentioned that the men's steam room felt a little grubby.

This hotel provides excellent service and well-kept rooms. I found the bed comfortable with notably soft, silky linen. The bathroom was clean and it was functional, stocked with necessary amenities. I especially appreciated the spa treatments and readily accessible sauna.
I noticed that the steam room in the men's changing area needed some attention.
